Synopsis

Advances in Biomedical Images and Signal Processing: Current Trend is a compilation of research works conducted by Biomedical Instrumentation and Electronics (bMIE) research group. It includes biosignal and image processing technique utilizing current available technology in solving some rehabilitation engineering issues. This book contains information on current methods in developing medical diagnostic tools. The chapters in this book discusses methods of biosignal such as brain signal (EEG), muscle signal (EMG), heart signal (ECG) as well as biomedical image processing on different types of body part images. In addition, discussion of statistical analysis, hardware fabrication and software development are also included in this book. The book hopes to become a source of reference to researchers as well as students who wish to capitalize on the latest technologies in biomedical images and signal processing.
