Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Format & Structure of Manuscript - Original editable file attached (Word, InDesign, or LaTeX). - All manuscript components complete according to the UTM Press template. - Chapters submitted as separate files or as one complete manuscript.
  • Figures, Tables, and Illustrations Format (if the quality in manuscript not suitable for printing) - Please ensure all figures, tables, and illustrations are included in the manuscript. - Original high-resolution source files attached separately (figures labelled by caption number and optimised for black-and-white printing; tables in editable format). - All source files combined in a single ZIP folder for upload. - Colour used only if approved in advance. - Permission letters provided for any copyrighted material. - File formats: EPS, TIFF, PDF, and JPEG.
  • ADDITIONAL INFO Approved Proposal - Approved book proposal uploaded together with the manuscript. Curriculum Vitae - CVs of editors and potential reviewers uploaded using the prescribed template. Review Report - Full review report attached if the manuscript has undergone external review.
