Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.-
Format & Structure of Manuscript
- Original editable file attached (Word, InDesign, or LaTeX).
- All manuscript components complete according to the UTM Press template.
- Chapters submitted as separate files or as one complete manuscript.
- Template and guidelines are in the “Author Guideline” section below. -
Figures, Tables, and Illustrations Format
- Please ensure all figures, tables, and illustrations are included in the manuscript.
- Original high-resolution source files attached separately (figures labelled by caption number and optimised for black-and-white printing; tables in editable format).
- All source files combined in a single ZIP folder for upload.
- Colour used only if approved in advance.
- Permission letters provided for any copyrighted material.
- File formats: EPS, TIFF, PDF, and JPEG. -
Author Agreement
- Written consent for publication obtained from all chapter authors.
- Proof of consent (signed forms or email confirmations) retained. -
ADDITIONAL INFO
Approved Proposal
- Approved book proposal uploaded together with the manuscript.
Curriculum Vitae
- CVs of editors and potential reviewers uploaded using the prescribed template.
Review Report
- Full review report attached if the manuscript has undergone external review.
