Biotechnology Development in Agriculture, Industry and Health

Description of Book Series
Biotechnology stands at the forefront of scientific innovation, offering transformative solutions to complex challenges across agriculture, industry, and health. Once confined to the laboratory, modern biotechnological innovations now shape how we grow food, manufacture goods, and treat disease—offering sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
With the integration of molecular biology, bioinformatics, and systems biology, modern biotechnology has evolved from a research-intensive discipline to a cornerstone of applied science. In agriculture, it enables the development of high-yield, stress-tolerant, and nutritionally enhanced crops. In industry, it drives the creation of bio-based materials, renewable energy sources, and environmentally sustainable manufacturing processes. In health, it underpins advances in diagnostics, therapeutics, and personalized medicine.
The book volumes in this series provide a comprehensive examination of current advancements in biotechnology, emphasizing interdisciplinary applications, scientific underpinnings, and implications for sustainable development. Chapters are aimed at equipping scholars, researchers, and practitioners with a deeper understanding of biotechnology’s expanding role in shaping the future of science and society.
