Synopsis

The book is about to converge a recent advance ingredients and technologies employment to produce a safer and premium quality of skin care product. The chapter begin with an overview on chemicals used in skin care formulas, plant materials as active compounds and technologies infusion to ensure product effectiveness. Then, the next chapter digs deeply related to trending active ingredients used in anti-aging skin care, including plant material implementation. This book also discussed on water-based ingredients in skin care formula that being reviewed in the third chapter. Then, the next two chapters demonstrated nanotechnology used to effectively deliver the active compound onto the skin and involvement of beauty devices that currently demanded by consumers for their “gadget” to maintain the skin health and well being. As for the last chapter, it discussed on technical experiment that revealed safety and efficacy of micellar-based facial cleanser that incorporated several anti-aging plant extracts with micellar nanotechnology. Hence, this book is expected to be a benchmark for audiences: Researchers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and practitioners to know the recent ingredients and technological advances used in skin care product to ensure sustainable materials are always being introduced as safer ingredients approach and advanced therapeutic skin care product can be more produced.
